The Institute is an IRS approved 501(3) Non-profit corporation which was incorporated in the State of California in December 2002. It is governed by a Board of Directors that is comprised of William H. Fredlund, Nathaniel Collins, Mary Ellen Cuykendall, Robert Garner, Mike Miller, Roger Stein, Diana Van Der Werff, Marnie Snow, and Eno Schmitt, plus non-voting member Joan Niemeier (CFO).
