Gilda Borrelli was born and raised in Sorrento, Italy, and studied in Naples. She has been teaching Italian in the Bay area for twelve years. She has a Degree in “Foreign Languages and Literatures,” a Masters Degree in “Methods and Techniques to Teach a Foreign Language,” and a Masters Degree in “Translating a Literary Text.” Gilda lives in Los Altos with her husband Professor Gianluca Iaccarini (Stanford) and their two sons Massimo and Paolo.
