The Institute is pleased to offer "The History of Ancient Greece," taught by William H. Fredlund, Ph.D.. We received from the ancient Greeks the whole structure of rational thought that led to modern science, the whole structure of democracy, the concepts of law and equality of the citizen before the law, the ideas of freedom of speech and freedom of publication, the art of rhetoric, the art of theater, and of course, the epic poetry invented by Homer. All classes begin at 7:00 PM.
