Cumae

The Acropolis at Cumae is made of tufa rock.
The Sibyl's cave is where Aeneas finds the Sibyl who leads him into the underworld.
From the Sibyl's altar, one looks back onto the daylight from the entrance.
This is an original Roman road on the acropolis.
